I have been trying to find the Week 24 Map. Would someone tell me where it is? Unless it has not been created whatsoever.

It currently only exists on my computer and unfinished. We are still in week 23 so it will not be posted until we get to week 24.

When will this week be over? It's been much more than a week...

Each week contains 5 generations. Each generation contains 80 species. Thus each week is 400 species long. Plus 4 to 8 landmarks and random events mixed in. We are currently in gen 147 and we started the week with gen 145, thus we will end the week with the 80th species of gen 149. In short we are about half way through the week.

Note that the name "week" is left over from the first days of project where there was only a few people on the project and everyone posted 2 species per day for a week (7 days). Sicne then we adjusted and now post many more species per generation and have shortened the number of generations from 7 to 5. The reason for this is the wiki page could not handle more than 400 species on a page so we shortened the week rather than the number of species in a generation. Thus the word "week" should really be "period" since that is what it is. Just like the Jurassic or Cretaceous Period and each generations is more like an "Epoch". Just like the Eocene or Paleocene Epoch.

Speaking of next week I beg of you Hydro to find a way to warm the planet up without a mass extinction. Truth be told I think were going to need two maybe even three weeks before the ecosystems can fully recover.

I have said before it will be getting warmer next week. But for the most part biomes will survive. However there are some biomes that will go extinct due to their locations (ex. islands, shallows, etc). In short get ready for the return of tropical biomes and deeper oceans!

It isn't going to be exactly like the week 20 map is it?

Of course not. Things land erodes, volcanoes grow, plates move, biomes change and disasters change the landscape. The past ice age alone has changed Sagan 4 a lot.
