We are having another diorama contest. You may pick any biome from any time in Sagan 4's history. Preferably a biome that has not been done before. All submissions must be posted in this thread by Midnight Pacific Standard Time February 28th, 2010. Voting will occur the week after.

The prize this time is a bit diffrent. You see everyone who wishes to participate MUST agree to the following rules. The winner gets a FREE species from every person who submitted a diorama into this contest. Thus the more people who participate the bigger the prize for the winner!! If you do not agree to having to make a species for the winner if you loose then please to not submit a diorama into this contest.

Best of luck to all of you!


Size must be between 750 x 600 and 400 x 400.

You must have at least 4 diffrent flora and 4 diffrent fauna.

(Unless its a "micro diorama" in which case at least 4 producer microbes an 4 consumer microbes.)


Everyone make sure you have the standard form too ...

Yes. You can always make more than one. However you only get one vote in the poll. So ultimately you will only get to vote for one of your dioramas.

However if you do you will have to make more than one species for the winner if you loose. The reason is you have that much more of a chance to win.

In addition one MUST be a team member to participate since if you loose you will be submitting a species.

I'm going to try something new, outside my elements because they don't seem good enough anymore. I will either hand draw it or paint it. Should I bother?

Of course you should try! As long as it follows he guidlines I say go for it. I would love to see you do a hand drawn or painted diorama. Rhodix did a few hand drawn ones. I don't see why you couldn't.

i want to enter, but i have no idea what place/time period i should do. i want something really exotic and strange. any ideas? i was thinking maybe that island where the giant whale predator things lived. i kind of want to do an underwater habitat because they are usually the most colorful and strange, however it seems to be just the opposite here on sagan 4  Undecided

 I would say first ...

1. Pick a week http://wiki.mydigiview.com/index.php?title=Ecosystems

2. Then pick a diverse biome.

3. Then see if it has been done already. http://wiki.mydigiview.com/index.php?title=Dioramas

4. If it has been done then you should probably pick another biome or week (or both).
