We all have our own little goals and aspirations, Hydro. You can't expect everyone to live their little worldbuilding fantasy in Sagan 4, which is YOUR project. We all have different tastes and styles, some of which just can't be represented in Sagan 4.

You can make it if you evolve it. Thats the whole points of Sagan 4. To build an alien ecosystem with diverse creatures. There is room enough for your creatures here. Do not go away please.

Yes, but that's not the point of Sagan 4. Sagan 4 isn't a managerie of creatures that people like, it's supposed to be a realistic alien ecosystem. Things don't evolve to reach a goal, they evolve by chance because of environmental factors. I won't evolve, say...a giant trilobite just because I want to. All the evolutions I make are because I judge environmental factors affecting a species and try to predict what those will do to the last species.

Frankly, and no offence, but I think you're being a little egotistical. It's like, instead of moving out when you're old enough, your mom just makes you build an expansion to her house. You don't want that. Sure, you can have everything you want in that expansion, but you'd rather just move out. Why? Independance. Control. You want your unique 'house', not just to be grafted on to someone else's house.

I still like Sagan 4. I will continue to be an active member. It just doesn't fit for the my esoteric, Cambrian/Lovecraftian view of an alien ecosystem.

Do you mind if i evolve something similar to the Your red branch then? I was evolving it in a similar path because of the creatures in the Cambrian. My Trapinfilter was going to become a lot like it. And I was hoping to get my filtering urchip line to become more like barnacles which is a lot like your Filter shell. In short each of your creatures I think would fit just fine in a logical way. They may not all be in the same ecosystem but they would at least still exist.

Also, I really just kinda hate the assimilation idea. IMO, it's cheap and somewhat just...not good. It's like stealing from the creativity of other world's fauna and flora. I'm somewhat okay with reusing some of these creatures for Sagan 4, just give me some time.
