Super Cladogram

Filled some more generations and generating a new version right now.

I've developed a rather fast way of adding species.

1. Go to the species list of the cladogram generator.
2. Open the generations page of the wiki in a new tab.
3. Find the first generation that's not complete (at the moment that's 81) and open that page.
4. From the generation page, open all species in new tabs except the ones that are already in the generator. Quickest way to do this is middle mouse button or ctrl-click to open links in a new tab.
5. Go to the first creature page. Copy its name and remember the ancestor.
6. Go to the generator's species list, ctrl-F and type the beginning of the ancestor's name until you've found it. Add descendant, paste the name and type the gen number.
7. Back to the species page, navigate to the picture, copy the url, go back, past and submit.
8. While the generator is busy, close the picture, go to the next creature and repeat 5-8.
9. Time for the next generation!

If everyone adds a few generations regularly we'll have this finished in no time! Keep up the good work!

I've basically been doing that, but from the later generations backwards, so I think it probably takes longer (last time I checked the earlier gens had less species), also I'm lazy, and don't feel like adding more than 3 species when I visit the site.

Yeah, around gen 80 it's still 10-20 species per generation while in the later gens it's 80.

If you work from the later generations, don't you have the problem that a species' ancestor hasn't been added yet?

Anyway thanks for helping, every single species counts towards a complete cladogram!

Added another load of species (up to gen 104). Also fixed the problem of transparent PNGs getting a black background.

Many thanks to whoever uploaded some more species! I did some myself too and updated the cladogram. With over 1500 species, it's becoming really huge. Think I need to invent some way to find a particular species and such. Right now that's a bit impossible, even if you survive the loading time.

Well its a lot more complete than the cladograms I made. I still like it and think its the best things we have to represent a tree of life for Sagan 4.

I was trying to update the Cladogram, when it said the png images were not showing. Also somehow somebody change or put some nuaghty phrase for Mega Binucleusdetritivorus's ancestor and at the very bottom Urmom.....
