I made a drawing to show possible anatomy for plents, using the norat as the template. Please do not consider this official art.

This is very detailed. Good job. I think we should ask TheBigL and Hydro to approve this, but I can upload it to the Norat's page later.
Where is its reproductive system? it looks like there are two tubes connecting to the digestive one, but none to the sexual one...

I'm bad, and that's good! I will never be good, and that's not bad. There's no one I'd rather be than me.

There is a lightly drawn oval for where the reproductive organs go. I didn't put any because the diagram is sort of gender neutral, plus I don't know what they look like.

Go here and in the wiki pages of its ancestor, the nectarling.

It looks good. However you might want to add the plent reproductive system too. See elerd's post.

Very cool Jlind! Yep, you should do the plent stuff as well.

There are some questions left unanswered: If plent respiration is involuntary, how does the mechanism work? (IS it a diaphragm, or something else) Also, how do baby plents receive nutrients from the mother when they are still developing inside her?

1. Probably a diaphragm. Organs for most species on Sagan 4 have not been well developed. 2. Probably some sort of umbilical chord. Like I said organs have been left vague for the most part unless they are external.

That's one of the really big problems with this project, the technical info isn't explained. I'd help more in this part but I don't have any real knowledge about the workings of biological systems.

And that's why most were left out. So everyone who joined would not have to have a degree in anatomy. While getting very specific with the details can make the project more realistic it also can make it harder for new people to absorb and learn. The project is already huge without having to learn the digestive system of 20 Kingdoms. In short they obviously have the organs they need and if they have anything special or lacking its usually mentioned. Such as a "butt-nostril" or vomiting up poop.
