I'm not? then I am deeply sorry for my overloaded criticizing and for my wrongful actions at that. *nods head solemnly*

Everyone knows creatures run on magic that comes from the star(s), goes into plants, and then into creatures. The innards are magic.
Be nice Razonatair. although it is slightly true.

i'm not sure if setting up a diagram of the cells really has a point... i mean they are eukaryotes and are essentially the same as Earth's cells, right?

Yep for most i think. Where did the Mitochondria come from?
Protosagania? I don't know. Where did the other organelles come from?

Where did the Mitochondria come from?
Protosagania? I don't know. Where did the other organelles come from? Well from my understanding, mitochondria came from a symbiotic relationship between a eukaryote and a bacteria similar to how plants obtained chlorophyll from cyanobacteria. On sagan4, the black algae partnered with saganchaos to form the starflora line. The endosymbiotic theory concerns the origins of mitochondria and plastids (e.g. chloroplasts), which are organelles of eukaryotic cells. According to this theory, these organelles originated as separate prokaryotic organisms which were taken inside the cell as endosymbionts. Mitochondria developed from proteobacteria (in particular, Rickettsiales or close relatives) and chloroplasts from cyanobacteria.

Well from my understanding, mitochondria came from a symbiotic relationship between a eukaryote and a bacteria similar to how plants obtained chlorophyll from cyanobacteria. On sagan4, the black algae partnered with saganchaos to form the starflora line. True but the rest of the black flora did not. In short i think this is the part of Sagan 4 which was not done realistically and is too late to fix since it effects all species. Wich another reason why organs were kept so vague since we really never decided for sure on things.

maybe instead of having a complex digestive system, one creature could just throw everything up when its been in the intestines for a while. thats what the first animals supposedly did, and ive always thought it would be funny to have a planet of animals that puke alot
