But what about the horns? They cannot disappear that quickly, no offense.
Didn't they appear as quickly? If hydro allowed it to gain horns that fast, then why not lose them at the same rate?

What are the things on its back? If you are saying those are the leave then that's totally wrong the leaves on its back are now on its butt covering its butt-nostril. You cannot have 2 sets of those.

As for the horns they were already hard wooden whiskers. The horns are now just thicker wooden whiskers. It cannot just loose its horns like that. Plus they are attached at the jaw-line not above the mouth.

Also they have like 2-3 toes now. Yours looks more like an old Hoofbear Plent than a Hornface.

Whys it have 4 eyes? This is not a nodent linage. This is a linage from the bearhogs. They only have 2 eyes not 4.

1. I can remove them if necessary.
2. I'll see if I can just make them smaller wooden whiskers on the back of the jaw.
3. How many toes is it permitted then?
4. If the Nobuck could make an extra set of eyes, why can't this?
My oh my. What if we just did a swap or something involving you making an omnivoric Hornface that resembles my idea? And I do what you want me to make?

1. Ok.
2. I don't see why they cannot have horns still. Its what made them unique.
3. 3 Front, 3 back (plus heal spike).
4. The nobucks eyes were not very developed yet. They had primitive eyes. These on the other hand have well developed eyes.
5. Ok. How about you do a genus group for the "Spirals" (ex. Swamp Spiral, Polar Spiral Swimmer, Spiralmound, Seacleaner, etc)?
6. Also the species pictures should not have a landscapes behind them. That's what the dioramas are for.

That seems like a silly rule. I see no reason why someone could not add an accurate background if he or she wanted to...

The reason is that the landscape changes all the time and may misrepresent the species in the future.

Good point. I never thought of that...

5. Sure, why not? You can expect this done swiftly.
6. Ok, I will remember that in the future. But still, we need to make more dioramas these days...

I realized I hadn't made a description or even a name for this. Would anyone here be interested in doing that? (sorta like a collab?)

If anyone has tips on making translucent skin, send me a tutorial please.

I've noticed that something tends to look more translucent if you shade it with lighter areas on both sides. Like here:

Compare to this one, which looks more 'solid':

The reason is that generally, an object like this is thicker in the middle, so less light gets through. In short, look at the thickness of the creature (and in your case also where the bones are, like you already did in the legs) when shading. Of course it'll also still have the normal shading depending on where the light source is, but I'm sure you'll figure it out. Creature looks cool btw. Smiley

Why not put a simplistic background behind it? Nothing special, maybe even just the silhouette of a native flora or something, and show its outline being slightly visible through the bandersnatch.
