To make things semi realistic I would like to propose a mandatory process if you wish to move from element to element. Here are some examples...

Sea to Land

Aquatic -> Amphibious (Like Mudskippers) -> Terrestrial

Land to Sea

Terrestrial -> Amphibious (Like Otters) -> Aquatic

Sea to Air

Aquatic -> Gliding (Like Flying Fish) -> Flight

Air to Sea

Flight -> Semi-Aquatic (Like Ducks) -> Aquatic

Land to Air

Terrestrial -> Gliding (Like Flying Squirrels) -> Flight

Air to Land

Flight -> Poor Flight (Like Chickens) -> Terrestrial

There are such exceptions such as floating with hydrogen rather than true flught but they should still go through a transition process.

Slightly off topic, but nobody really seems to like totally semi-aquatic animals. We have a TON of them on Earth, and although that isn't really relevant, I was just wondering, is there any particular REASON you guys don't seem to enjoy making things like walrus, seal, sea lions, etc?

Not including that one seal-like plent, of course. And the Neaver.

The Pleppo are amphibious.

That's right, forgot about them.

I didn't mean it in an accusing way, just a random, inquiring thought.

I was planning to make a flying fish-like Swarmer. But then Ovi killed it by trashing it's environment.

I thought Humans did that, not dinosaurs.

Don't blame me! Blame tectonics!

Who is tectonics? I don't think I have seen him (her?) around on this forum.

Just blame Conti Nentaldrift. It's all her fault. Tongue

The Pleppo are amphibious.
The River Shrew is amphibious, too.
