Nanobot cells would be the basic plan though I bet there is some variation.
Also I Don't think Time life is impossible to think of.

i was thinking it would be interesting if some animals had a sort of biological radio. it sounds irreducibly complex, but i believe i have figured out a semi-reasonable way of doing it. these creatures would seem to have telepathy from our viepoint, and if they didnt have ears (which they probably wouldnt), then we would seem telepathic to them.
also, i really dont understand the time life thing. please explain in detail.

Alright if I must go into detail.
I think a kingdom of life could have time intertwined into one of their dimensions. So for example lets make a human with time intertwined into it's Height.
The feet of this Human are made of Coal. The ankles form a transformation point inbetween the Coal and the Fish features of the lower legs. Next we move onto the Amphibian upper leg which has a transformation point at the knee ect.
Basicly the the larger a lifeform is the more "layers" it has all of which have been evolving for varying amounts of time but are all equally advanced in some sense.
Also before any body says no not every stage in lifes evolution is seen on the creature. And varying groups have different layers and adaptations in each layer.

Well if a species use ultrasonic or infrasonic sound the super high or low sounds would not be picked up by mid range fauna and thus seem like telepathy.

- A planet that orbits a black hole - A planet encompassed by a giant library - A planet with diamond mountains, glaciers, waterfalls (also sapphire), and bombarded with deadly radiation from the star - A planet that has been ravaged by metallic stingray-like creatures and turned from a habitable world into a barren desert within a year
Guess what show is this from? (bonus points if you can name the episodes)

Planet idea: A large planet that from above looks like it has purple water and silver landmasses. But from the surface, however, it turns out these landmasses are giant spires floating around a core made of plasma, and the purple water is actually plasma!
