How to Join the Sagan 4 Team

All first time submissions must be made in this thread. But before you post, please make sure you read THE RULES for posting.

Additionally, please make sure your drawings are colored. If you do not color your drawing, no one will be able to accurately evolve anything from it.

Once you have submitted your organism, Hydromancerx will tell you if have passed within few days. If you pass, you may start making as many species as you want. If not we will tell you what you need to improve upon. There is no limit to how many times you can apply. Once you are a team member you are always one. You just may be put on inactive status until you return again, but no need to reapply.

Smart Plesioraptors split from Hiding Plesioraptors.They were Smarter and can lay eggs at land.They have rougher scale like skin.They hunt in packs.Two of their eyes grew smaller.They kill with no mercy and they push they're prey of edges of rivers then went down and eat their meal.They appear in the  beginning of the gen their in.They can climb trees and swim but can't jump high and since they're 3rd and 4th eyes shrink.They're vision decreased.

Smart Plesioraptors spilt from Hiding Plesioraptors.They were Smarter and can lay eggs at land.They have rougher scale like skin and could use rocks, sticks, and logs as tools.They use sticks to kill they're prey, rocks to stun prey, and logs as bridges or push logs out of edges to crush prey.But they can't make them so if these things aren't around they use their old hunting skills to kill but they usauly miss.And they hunt in packs.

Please try to avoid giving any of the animals sentience (we try to avoid that because it causes a lot of confusion and difficulty.)

Yeah sentience/sapience is not allowed. We are here to make a planet ecosystem. And if we were to want to have something intelligent like humans, the ecosystem it would have to live in would have to be filled in much better than what we have now. In short we must think about making the ecosystem filled in and balanced before we can even think about sentience/sapience on it.

Also doing tribes is not as fun as you would think. With Drake 3 (the spin off of this project) they tried it and it killed their project. Thus I am very much against it unless we are planning to end Sagan 4 (which we are not any time soon).

1st of all don't forget to put your name under creator. I know its dumb because you submitted it but it is important when i am transferring it over to Spore Wiki where we do not see who posted it.

2nd "Flisch River,by Flisch Lake, and Bone Swamp." How did it ever get over there without being in the other biomes not to mention a mountain range in the way to get to Flisch.

3rd the diet is way too general. "eating everything" is too cheesy. You should start having it eat something and eventually add more to the list as it goes. In short you should have to take the time to name what creatures that they eat. In doing so you will not choose as many.

4th you could have a slightly larger description.

Also where is your own picture? You need to draw your own picture when you submit a creature, not edit an existing one. Otherwise we would have  a billion creatures without pictures. However if you do have an idea for a creature you can post your idea here and perhaps someone will make it.

Ok even though you fixed up the text, i must say you need major practice on your art skills. I hate to tell people they can't join but yours is hard to tell what it even is without the description.

Try drawing other creatures that have been made to practice.

I use paint and when I draw.I slip and make lines not curves.Maybe it's the laptop or the program.Any other easyer programs.

Also scanners are much cheaper than they were before. So i suggest you get a scanner so you can put your hand drawings on your computer to color them.

Well at the moment the game is paused while we wait for the new map. But if you submitted one the generation would be 76. Generation states what time it evolved in not how many times it has evolved.

In short if you evolved from a gen 69 creature you would put gen 76 on it. And you can evolve any living (extant) species. They have a green extant on spore wiki. If it has a red "extinct" then you cannot evolve it. Also check the WIP biome page for the current up to date list of creatures and where they live. Cause habitats change, and well as come and go.

Sorry, I just figured that since the Shelled Urchip is a 41 generation, there would've been a lot of time between that and the 76th generation. Though if it's extant, that explains some things...

Ground Plentsnapper (Arbosaurus Activtius)

Reproduction:Sexual,Lays hard eggs in the swamp, and has two genders.

The Ground Plentsnapper  spilt from the Plentsnapper. It is an active hunter that lives in pairs but hunts alone, except when a male or female hunts with it's kids.When not hunting they are very social creatures that are friendly to it's family but not with other families. Have very good sense of small and sight, but not so good on sound.Their fins are gone, and their main weakness is like I say is they hunt by them selves.Also gained the ability to walk on two legs.

Yeah, no offense, but to join you have to spend just a little more time on the art. I can tell that all you used was paint or somesuch program. If you don't have acess to a scanner, jsut try getting good at paint. And even if you don't post creatures, maybe you could be our micro-organism-guy-thing.
