Cool! Mine isn't that hard to control. I practiced with it and used it as a mouse. After a few hours it was quite easy for me.

I find illustrating on my tablet a hell of a lot easier. Of course, that may be just because I use a ball mouse (mostly because I am also a super srs gamer) and you guys might use scroll mouses.

Yeah ball mouse is not good for drawing. I use an optical mouse. I use to have a wireless one but it would not respond as well. So a wired optical mouse seems to be very smooth and exact for me.

Awesome you guys! I wish I could have gotten one. Does anyone know of a good tablet that works like paper where you can see the screen on the tablet itself, in a similar style to when drawing in the PicChat on the DS? That would be...SO much easier than taking a year to get used to staring at the screen while drawing with my hands (especially considering how I draw on paper). I also assume that would add to the "bettertude" my art could quickly soar to, as opposed to working on it like a typical mouse.

Those things are very expencive, I think you would be better off with a small cheap pen tablet. Really It doesn't take that long to get used to, expecially because I think your line art is already great when you draw it with a mouse.

Ho hum, I guess I'll have to try using my non-ball mouse for tracing lines on the computer. It can sometimes be frustrating, but I hate scroll mouses for all other stuff.

How does $1,000 sound?

They're way too inflated in cost. It's not hard enough to make tablets to justify the cost.
