Nice! The tablet made colouring on the computer so much easier for me, hope it will do the same for you!

Not to discourage him or anything but I found coloring with it awful and color with much more accuracy using my mouse. But really all a tablet really is a pen shaped mouse anyways. In fact my tablet came with a separate mouse you could use on it.

I find coloring easier with the mouse too. I use the pen for the outlines.

Actually, it's more then just a pen shaped mouse. For instance, you can apply pressure with it, wich makes shading much easier. Besides, if you get used to it, it will be just like using a real pencil. I found that I could colour with much more accuracy with the tablet. You just need some practice, because you are used to using a mouse, but when you get used to the tablet, it will feel very natural.
I'm not saying using the mouse is bad, if that's what you prefer than you should use that.

Yeah I think everyone should use what fits them. But try everything out 1st. For instance when I hand draw I press way too hard for mechanical pencils and MUST use #2 pencils. Because they are the only ones that are strong enough (unless its other hardness wood pencils). In high school my best friend drew just as well or better than me but only used mechanical pencils. So its all up to what you prefer.
