If you look at modern tectonic movement, North and South America are splitting. Just because prehistory indicates a trend, doesn't mean it applies nowadays. In fact, it is believed that the tectonic movements of Earth goes in supercontinent cycles so it is quite possible that the two will split and reunite a number of times.

I also have a Bamboo.

I find illustrating on my tablet a hell of a lot easier. Of course, that may be just because I use a ball mouse (mostly because I am also a super srs gamer) and you guys might use scroll mouses.
