Irony: Mason Polar Beach/Sea is on the Equator.

what would it take for penguin to become whale like. (non Dixonian pelagornids)
A reason to consume plankton, extinction of all whalelike animals, like seals, whales, etc. Also, lack of predation would work so they could become big (no more need to be fast)

Using sound waves from the ground isn't a bridge too far. If there's enough fauna, the rumbling from the fauna could work.

I assume because there's three peak instead of one mountain.

The Eumenides

i was being sarcastic, pointing out why your logic was unreliable
I was stating that it has to be able to break the bonds between the protein and OXYGEN. Carbon monoxide is an entire molecule with different properties all together.
11  Sagan 4 / Sagan 4 Science / Re: Blood Color on: February 18, 2010, 12:00:33 PM
Actually, it permanently bonds with carbon monoxide, which is why it's so deadly. And I don't see how that's related to the vanadium.

"What would it take to evolve a freshwater sea urchin species?"
Removing the sea part of the name.
13  Sagan 4 / Sagan 4 Science / Re: Blood Color on: February 17, 2010, 07:17:26 PM
The protein itself has got to be able to carry oxygen, so that means that it must be able to let the bonds go.

but why would something gain fur or any type of insulation if its cold-blooded?
To not lose the heat it just gained perhaps? With insulation, it would become cold far faster without fur. Fur keeps animals warm by containing the heat so less is radiated, so the same would count for reptiles.

Alright, alright. I was under the megalomaniac impression that my advice and knowledge might be appreciated at times, which is the only thing that actually kept me here. But of course, if you don't want me here anymore, I have no reason to stay here any longer.

Cya would be kinda ironic, so I'll just say goodbye. I'll see some of you still on deviantArt I guess.

OMG DONT LEAVE UR SO IMPORTANT
